I'm a parent of two kids in Seattle, and like most families, I lived the whole daycare journey — the waitlists, the drop-offs, the daily check-ins. But the software our daycare used? That was its own adventure.

Clunky apps. PDFs emailed back and forth. Billing that required a phone call. I'd watch the staff juggle a dozen things at once, buried in admin work that technology should have solved years ago. So I started asking: why hasn't someone fixed this?

I set out to build something genuinely simple. Something a director could learn in an afternoon, that parents would actually want to use, and that wouldn't require a $500/month enterprise contract to access.

With two decades of product and technology experience — from MoMA to Amazon — I built the tool I wished had existed when my kids were enrolled.

Kinderflow is for the small daycare owner who's wearing five hats. It's for the parent who just wants to know their kid had a good day. And it's priced so that independent centers — the heart of early childcare — can actually afford it.
